What’s the best thing about working for William Grant & Sons?
It is the best people, the great brands, the freedom and possibilities, and the professionalism and innovation
Tell us a little bit about your role at William Grant & Sons: what do you get involved with/how does your role support the business?
Being a Brand Ambassador requires special attention to your job and ongoing communication with a range of different people. I have travelled across Russia and all over the world, but not just as a tourist - I have held hundreds of master classes and tasting sessions while representing The Balvenie. I don’t just do whisky tasting... I give people a new experience, ideas and knowledge so that they can breathe the philosophy of the brand.
How would you describe your personality/character and what makes you a unique employee?
I have always dreamt of working with a very complex and high quality product, which can boast having history, charisma and heritage. A product for real aficionados, a product like The Balvenie, a unique Scotch single malt whisky. That’s why I was happy to accept the job offer made by William Grant & Sons. For me whisky is people, history, emotions and travelling. My interest in Scotch whisky was not love at first sight; it’s been a long journey of learning, tasting and revealing beautiful things.
What’s your favourite of our brands and why?
I sincerely love and respect all our William Grant & Sons brands, but one became a part of me – The Balvenie.
