We are looking for a Shift Team Member to independently operate, control and monitor the gin distillery process equipment (stills, vessels, pumps, mixers valves etc) to deliver the distilleries goals (safety, volume, quality, service and efficiency) in accordance with role accountabilities and company policy.

The largest grain distillery in Scotland, and a true powerhouse, not just in terms of spirit volume, but in terms of innovative energy generation and cutting-edge new technology projects, our Girvan Distillery is found in the tranquil setting of a picturesque seaside town, just 50 miles from Glasgow. The 750-acre site contains our own cooperage, energy centre and an anaerobic reactor plant. And our state-of-the-art laboratory spearheads the Company’s innovative programme of new product development.

It is essential that you have demonstrable knowledge of problem solving techniques and must be able to work in a variety of environments that include both fieldwork and deskwork.

You must have strong numerical ability with equivalent National 5/GCSE Maths and English. Prior manufacturing plant operations experience with knowledge and ability to use computer programs for process control is also desirable.
